Description:
Double Tetris is a fresh twist on the classic Tetris game. In this version, blocks don't fall from just one direction — they can either descend from the top or rise from the bottom of the screen, alternating randomly. Players must adapt quickly to each new piece, which may come from above or below, and position it carefully to complete lines in the center of the playfield.
Use your reflexes and planning skills to keep the board clear and survive as long as possible in this unpredictable, double-sided version of the beloved puzzle game.
Instructions:
The objective of the game is to carefully balance the pieces in order to complete horizontal lines, which are then cleared from the board. However, if a piece passes straight through the central area without being placed, it's game over.
Controls:
- Arrow Keys – Move left and right
- Down Arrow – Accelerate a falling piece
- Up Arrow – Accelerate a rising piece
- Spacebar – Rotate the piece
- 'p' key - Pause the game
Linux users will likely need to run a chmod command to make the game executable.:$ chmod +x Double_Tetris_vs_1_0_Linux.x86_64
